As an American, I grew up eating mayonnaise in everything!
We used mayo to create chicken salad, egg salad, and tuna salad, plus we put it on all of our cold cut sandwiches.
I also remember my father used to make Russian Dressing using mayonnaise, ketchup, pickles and lemon juice. It turned plain mayo turn into a whole new eating experience.
Mayonnaise was (and still is) a staple in my home.
Today, I like to make my mayonnaise a little spicy!
Infusing mayonnaise with sriracha hot pepper sauce really gives it an awesome kick.
Sriracha also has some health benefits, of course. Its spicy flavor comes from capsaicin in the chili peppers, which has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties that can keep gut bacteria in check.
And, hot sauce in general, increases circulation and blood flow.
So, if you like a little bit of heat, you’re going to love this Spicy Sriracha Mayo. I use it on fish and shrimp dishes, and love it on burgers and tacos, too.
