Probiotic-Rich Tartar Sauce

Tartar sauce is a classic dressing for fried fish, fishcakes, crabcakes, and other seafood.

You may think that tartar sauce is simply a sauce to slather on fried seafood, but I invite you to think outside the food box.

When you create a homemade tartar sauce, it can be an excellent source of probiotics for your gut.

Here’s how…

Tartar sauce contains pickle relish or diced pickles. With that in mind, dice up your favorite salt-brined pro-biotic rich pickle for this recipe.

And, instead of using ALL mayonnaise for the creaminess, use yogurt, too.

Not only will this sauce make your fried fish dishes taste totally yummy, you’ll also get a healthy dose of probiotics with each creamy bite.

Try it on my Quick Cooking Crabcakes Recipe to support your gut deliciously.
