Mint Infused Water

  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 4 cups water

Crush the mint leaves with a rolling pin, or rip into small pieces. Put the crushed mint into a quart-sized mason jar, or any container that will hold 4 cups water. Pour room temperature water into the jar, cover, and set on the counter (preferably in the sunlight), for 2-3 hours. Shake the jar once or twice to help release the essential oils from the mint leaves.

Pour into individual glasses, with or without ice, and enjoy this cool refreshing summer drink!

    Hi Andrea. Moon Water. Same recipe but put it in the moonlight during the full moon and drink the cooling water the next day. Regards, Mary Lou
