Marshmallow root is another one of my all-time herbie favorites.

It’s a soothing demulcent that creates moistness and a healthy layer of mucilage while restoring the function of the gut. As we age we have a tendency to “dry out” and marshmallow is a classic remedy to moisten the body. There’s a reason why it’s been used as a panacea for centuries.

Instructions
  1. Put all ingredients into a 24 ounce mason jar or French press.
  2. Cover with boiling water.
  3. Steep 45 minutes or overnight.
  4. Drink 1-2 cups daily
