Serves: 2-4 servings
  1. Salt the tuna on each side, and set aside for about 10 minutes.
  2. Combine the black and tan sesame seeds on a plate.
  3. Press the tuna onto the sesame seeds so you get a coating of seeds on all sides of the fish.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan on high heat and add the oil.
  5. Sear the tuna for 1 minute on each side.
  6. Combine the sesame oil, shoyu, lime juice, hot honey, ginger and shallot.
  7. Remove tuna from the pan and set aside.
  8. Put greens into two separate plates.
  9. Dress the greens with your fave dressing (I like to keep it simple, olive oil, lime/lemon juice and salt).
  10. You can either leave the tuna whole, or slice it into thin pieces and lay on top of the salad.
  11. Top tuna with the sesame oil, hot honey, ginger/shallot dressing.
