Do you know what these popular weight loss drugs do to your muscles, gut, thyroid, and bones?

The popular GLP-1 weight loss drugs like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Saxenda and others, are all the rage right now.

Honestly, it seems like EVERYONE everywhere is taking them for quick weight loss.

Including many of the people I know and love in the wellness world.

And, it’s working!

These folks are dropping weight like crazy. I have a friend that dropped 32 pounds in less than months (6 weeks). That is FAST weight loss!

BUT, there is a dark side to these GLP-1 medications.

Do you know what these drugs and that rapid weight loss, are linked with?

The majority of the population do NOT know, but they are learning through first-hand experiences.

Here’s what the most recent medical and scientific studies have found:

  • Gastrointestinal problems (nausea/vomiting, diarrhea/constipation, paralyzed stomach, pancreatitis) [1]
  • Gastroparesis [2]
  • Rapid muscle loss [3]
  • Bone loss and osteoporosis [4] [5]
  • Blunted emotional response (deplete dopamine) [6]
  • Thyroid cancer[7]

With the list of negative side effects that keeps growing every year, I highly recommend you rethink those quick weight loss drugs and try to lose weight the old-fashioned way.

Diet and lifestyle improvements promote weight loss naturally, and slowly, and have zero negative side effects.

But, I think it’s the “slowly” part that most people don’t want to deal with or wait for.

Losing 1 to 1.5 pounds per week seems like it could take forever to lose weight, right?

Maybe… but good things come to those who wait.

For example, if you were to stick to a healthy diet and lifestyle plan to lose 1.5 pounds per week, that’s potentially six pounds per month.

In six months, that could be 36 pounds.

In one year, that could be a whopping 72 pounds – yowza!

And, if you were to experience that weight loss by eating better quality food in healthy quantities, and combining with daily movement (exercise and weight training) – you would create a healthier and happier body and mind, without destroying your bodily systems in the process.

In six months, you could to be fitter, stronger, happier, and healthier.

There are many options for weight loss.

Choose the one that makes the most sense to you.

And, if you are struggling with weight gain due to thyroid imbalance, I encourage you to see what’s happening inside my Thyroid Health Community.

Members are losing weight and gaining health naturally and easily.

Here’s what one of member had to say:

“I was suffering from complete burn out, chronic fatigue, aches, pain, and weight gain. After 2 months of applying the dietary and lifestyle changes recommended by Andrea, I started to notice many of these symptoms go away. I have been feeling more in tune with myself at all levels and I know I have dropped some pounds because I can see and feel it without needing a scale. Also, on my last blood work, the doctor told me that we needed to lower my medicine, finally! Today, I feel in control as I am noticing many shifts from the dietary modification and regaining energy and improvement on all levels. Today I know I am on the right path to get off that med and be my best naturally.” – Violaine
