During the hot summer months, I like to spend less time inside a hot kitchen, and more time outside playing in nature.
That’s when the broiler comes in really handy!
When you broil ingredients, it’s done on very high heat, for a short amount of time.
Broiling also creates a crisp exterior and a juicy interior for whatever you are cooking.
In this recipe, I’m using Wild Atlantic Cod.
Cod is a low-fat, flaky white fish that doesn’t require much time at all under the broiler, 5 to 7 minutes, depending on its thickness.
To create a delicious crispy outer coating, I like to use a dried herb seasoning blend.
Or you can simply coat with any herbs (dried or fresh) that you like.
I highly recommend you watch my fun cooking class on how to eat for the summer season to get all the insight and recipes you need to have the most delicious and refreshing summer.
Enjoy the recipe and remember to get OUT of the kitchen and get INTO the outdoors.
