Allergy Relief Tea

As the liver does it’s amazing job of naturally cleansing the body during the spring, it can set into motion a series of detox processes that can look and feel a lot like allergies or the common cold: itchy eyes, running nose, head congestion, sneezing, coughing, and trouble breathing.

This congestive trouble is an indicator that the detoxification systems in your body may be unable to keep up with the waste and cellular debris that needs to be discarded.

That, combined with the toxicity we are ALL exposed to in our environment (man-made micro plastics, toxins in the air, water and soil), all contribute to these type of “allergic” reactions.

There are many ways to remedy this, and it begins with a simple cup of tea.

The main ingredient is Nettles Leaf (Urtica diocia)Nettles is a mineral rich plant that is revered for its ability to strengthen the adrenals, ease anxiety, naturally cool the body, increase overall energy and build the blood. This mineral rich leafy green aids protein absorption and is a supreme adrenal tonic. It works wonders for people suffering with allergies, or allergy-like symptoms.

I’ve also included in this tea blend, Burdock Root (Arctium lappa) – this is an alterative herb that clears debris from the lymph. It is a classic blood purifier, cools internal heat, and naturally aids the detoxification process.

You can simply use the two ingredients above to find some relief. And, if you really want to have a cup of powerhouse allergy relief tea, add in these three ingredients as well.

Elder Flowers (Sambuccas nigra) – I LOVE the flavor and aroma of these little flowers. Not only that, they help relieve coughing and runny nose and are a potent immune stimulant and anti-viral.

And, one of my favorite herbs to reduce the symptoms of post-nasal drip is Red Clover (Trifolium pratense). It is soothing to the mucus membranes, and is a detoxifying herb that assists the body in waste removal from the cells.

If you, or anyone you know is suffering with sniffling, sneezing, or head congestion share a cup of this Allergy Relief Tea with them. They will thank you for it!
